I create a variety of video content for the YMCA of Greater Boston, including marketing, fundraising and storytelling videos.
This documentary follows the YMCA of Greater Boston’s efforts to fight food insecurity in Boston, with interviews from partners like the Greater Boston Food Bank, the City of Boston and Project Bread. It was an official selection of the 2023 Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston).
This series, called “Motivation Monday” uses stories from members and staff to highlight different areas of the Y.
This video was played for donors and members at the annual YMCA Spark Party, showing the different areas that the Y impacts.
The following videos were shot and edited in early 2020 to show the Y’s response to the COVID-19 virus.
I also created videos for a series focused on the stories of the YMCA’s members called We Are Y.
Partnerships
A lot of my work serves to highlight the partnerships between the Y and other organizations in the community.
Social Media Campaigns
To welcome members back to the Y after we closed due to COVID-19, I created this spoof of a 1970’s sitcom.
We also created the series “Happy at the Y” to hear directly from members and campers about their experience at the Y.
At the New England Conservatory, part of my job was to find a way to get more students from the surrounding areas of Boston to attend the free concerts at the school’s Jordan Hall. I came up with the concept of “you know more classical music than you think” and made the following three videos to target a younger audience.
